ULTRAMARINE is a 2020 calendar published by Imaginaria, a group of professional illustrators.
This is the image I painted for the central splash page, featuring a fascinating and dangerous mermaid with UV fins.

The idea came altogether. I had a lot of fun painting such unusual details and light conditions.
